This is what astronomers expect to happen over the next 5 billion years as our galaxy and Andromeda collide. By that time the human species will have mutated unrecognizably, and we as a species will be long gone. Andromeda can be seen off the north-east shoulder of the Great Square in Pegasus in a region of the sky dense with fuzzy objects, the brightest of which is Andromeda.
