Dallas Fed’s Richard Fisher in a speech about monetary policy and interest rates at the Harvard Club of New York City yesterday.
“Nobody on the committee, nor on our staffs at the Board of Governors and the 12 [Federal Reserve] banks, really knows what is holding back the economy,” he said in a copy of the speech obtained by The News. “Nobody really knows what will work to get the economy back on course.”
