The MSM are pathetic. They are scrambling around trying to defend Derrek Lee, Alfred Apps and now Pablo Rodriques. I am sure there are lots of other Liberal misdeeds the National Press gallery are ignoring after all they ignored the sponsorship scandal for years.

Did anyone hear liberal supporter Jane on “Power Play” tonight…. poor Pablo…. he tried to blow but it wouldn’t register…. Wait and see what conservative she will try and bash tomorrow or on her show Sunday. Here is one person who will not give her the time of day… The minute I see her… she is gone… but I wasn’t home tonight…. My husband said she said Pablo tried… but it wouldn’t work… The President of the liberal party working for gangsters….a present liberal member of parliament lobbying for his law firm…. and now Pablo… poor Jane – her eyes will be so black from worry, no one will recognize her on Sunday….

I hold no brief for the Liberals but I am still dazzled by how Rahim Jaffer beat the charges. A $500 fine for driving drunk and holding flake? It just goes to show that once you are a member of the club, you are, short of truly egregious conduct, always a member of the club. Rather like Waugh’s Capt. Grimes, who believed he had been set back on his feet by his old school chums more than any other chap of his acquaintance, despite conduct which his school headmasters could neither understand nor condone.
