Climate change story takes on new dimension

7:13 am Uncategorized

The second stage booster rocket on the climate change story has just ignited, and everybody here at the Cape is holding our breath.  IPCC’s Pachauri accused of falsifying applications for money … Greenpeace wants him to resign … Phil Jones has been suspended for weeks and may not be able to avoid criminal charges … Michael Mann investigation enters second phase at Penn State … the British media, all of it, including the Guardian and the Times, smelled blood in the water and is now ripping away pieces of its thrashing victim.  The North American media, with some few exceptions, has literally been suicidal on this story.  Not only have they failed to provide the service they promise, they have sided with fraud artists who seek to confiscate my money to enrich themselves and their clans.  Delingpole of the Telegraph has it right: “I’m in no mood for being magnanimous in victory. I want the lying, cheating, fraudulent scientists prosecuted and fined or imprisoned.”

Why then does our Prime Minister continue to talk about ‘climate change’ like it’s a done deal?

I have supported Stephen Harper from day one, but am left gobsmacked by his stance on global warming. It is the biggest fraud ever layed at the feet of all citizens everywhere. I will withhold my vote in the future if he continues.

Compared to Canadians, sheep are assertive and self-confident. Mr. Harper can only move the herd so quickly without inducing massive cardial damage among the many. It is an article of my faith that the Prime Minister knows where to go and how to get there. (Immigration review, decimation of public sector, etc.)

The Harper stance is eminently logical, if disconcerting initially:

1.He said any plans by his government would dovetail with American proposals. Sensible cross-border politics and a smackdown of the insane cap ‘n trade schemes in Quebec and BC.

    2. He knows fully well that AGW is heading into its death throes, so why not play out the clock at minimal cost to the taxpayers and the economy. It’s not like climate fraud needs another brawny shoulder to send it over the clif, when one has a full plate and a horde of leftist jackals with which to contend.

Frankly, the red-blooded thing I would prefer Harper to do sooner for the happiness of the base and the good of the country would be to terminate Jennifer Lynch as the CHRC head. She’s a GiC appointment whose tenure is “during good behaviour”, and there’s plenty of evidence to show otherwise.

I agree wholeheartedly with Glendronach’s proposals for Jennifer Lynch. Unfortunately, “good behaviour” is determined by an Act of Parliament: Commons, Senate and Governor General. Or fortunately, if you happen to benefit from it. Legally she is not removable at any acceptable cost, I reckon. Pity.

I think a word of disapproval would go down very well.
