Forgive me for stating the obvious. There must be dozens out there pointing out the same thing – the total lack of leadership and moral clarity by the US President, the US Chief of Staff and the media on the subject of the plain-as-day motives of our jihadi shrink gone bad.

Some people who are being clear are:

Laurence Auster in View from the Right

Dennis Prager in Front Page Mag

Colby Cosh in the National Post

Irshad Manji, in a way that would survive Globe and Mail sensitivities.

Ron Radosh at Pajamas Media.

Lorne Gunter, in the National Post

Lorne Gunter writes:
“It is one thing to be tolerant of others’ views and beliefs, so long as those others are respectful of your creed and ideology in return. That has long been a hallmark of our pluralistic democracies. It is still. No matter how bad human rights commissions, Toronto Star columnists or special interest cause pleaders may claim discrimination is in Western societies, tolerance is and always has been at its greatest in the West.

The trouble with political correctness is that it doesn’t require that others be respectful in return.”

Prager writes:
“The deaths and maiming at Fort Hood are heartbreaking and angering. But ultimately far more injurious to America than the act of evil that caused those deaths and injuries is the massive self-deception American society engages in out of fear of being called bigoted, racist or “Islamaphobic.””

John King’s interview with General Casey skips over Islam (the only issue is possible backlash) to the question of stress in the military.

I am waiting for the explosion of Islamophobia. Have not heard it yet. I have barely seen any analysis let alone rioting and murder.
