Frightened yet?

6:45 pm American Politics, Economics and Finance

I am. When Obama lies straight out about his stance on single payer insurance – knowing that it is a lie and that he will be caught out in the lie – and goes ahead and lies anyway, something bad is happening.  I think he is confident – maybe not serenely confident but confident enough – that the mainstream media will protect him and he will get his way. That frightens me. The truth is that there is no health care crisis in the US. Most people are insured for most problems.  Most Americans have more to lose than to gain from collectivizing medicine – and they know it. I think Steyn has this weasel Obama pegged – all he needs to do is jam through something – anything – and an irreversible trend will be started.

Plus (and I do enjoy commenting on my own posts) watching the One think on his feet is like watching a cat snarling at a vacuum cleaner – fear, incomprehension and anger all flash by as if caught in a strobe light, but the paramount thought is to escape with a few threads of dignity.

You bet your boots in frightened. Here we have the POTUS playing the race card, calling the police actions stupid because of a racist professors actions, that he is a liar and totally unafraid of being caught, that a large portion of his cabinet couldn’t accept their posts because of criminal activity, that he, the POTUS, plays a 1970’s confrontational race card at every opportunity, that he bows to the King of Saudi Arabia, that he has nothing good to say about the US…Shoot!!! The list could go on for quite a while.

Am I nervous, ya’ damn bet ya’ I am.
