The above quote was airbrushed into history by the Obama Politburo. The new phrase reads:
Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.

I actually like this idea.
High schools here in Niagara Falls already require 40 hours of community service before graduating and I thought it was the same everywhere.
My youngest will graduate high school next year and she’s already put her time in, mostly at old age homes. She enjoyed the experiences.

Frankly, I feel that FORCING the lazy pampered whiny-ass kids of today (I know, I have two) to do anything is a good idea.
A certain degree of forced servitude is not a bad thing for the ego and soul as long as the activity is appropriate.

You just know most of that service will be something to do with the environment, whether you believe in climate change or not. The rest will be shovelling snow for Democratic party organizers.
