Is there a sleazier looking guy than McCallum?
Maybe Joe Volpe comes close, but McCallum still wins in my book.

Stan,
Joe Volpe is the best fundraiser LPC ever had, he was able to convince 12 years old to donate over 5 grands to Liberal cause.
Volpe I am sure would solve all Liberanos’ money problems.
Think of brown envelopes full of cash going from Toronto drug makers and Toronto drug dealers to back pockets of LPC movers and shakers.
Volpe could use his contacts to turn all that money into legit donations from Toronto welfare recepients.
LPC needs someone who has proper connections in Toronto underworld, someone who can walk around Toronto with lots of cash and turn that cash into political donation cheques without much of a risk that these cheques will bounce.

Don’t know if Karol was being tongue in cheek or not but sure sounds a lot like the evidence that came out of the Gomery inquiry as to how the Montreal end of the Liberal party were operating —
