Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle in action

Are you certain you would actually consume a German-manufactured cheeseburger in a can¹?

¹ May contain traces of Schrödinger’s cat. Or maybe not. Or possibly maybe/maybe not.

I recall the brass plaque on the German hotel, saying “Heisenberg may have slept here”.

Heisenberg’s “Physics and Philosophy” is a clear and compelling account of how quantum physics forced a rethinking of what we can ever know. Also, the recounting of him scraping burning white phosphorous off his shoes as he and a companion scientist discussed philosophy in bomb-wrecked Berlin is a classic instance of mind surmounting circumstances. A great read.
